What our clients are saying about Kim Mogan Arabians...

Kim is able to form a bond and connection with the horses she trains.
She did a beautiful job halter training and showing our mare.  She also does a great job teaching amateurs how to show their horse.  Our family could not have been happier with the results and experience of working with her, but most of all, we appreciate how Kim mentored and treated our daughter like her own. We hope to have the opportunity to work with her in the future.

Kim is one of the most loving and hard working persons I know. She has trained many of my horses and not one came home with a bad attitude or afraid of any movement directed toward them. Actually they came home with better manners. Her devotion to the horses and clients lack nothing and her integrity is of the highest level. I have known her for over fifteen years and her only fault is being too kind for her own good.
GOOD LUCK KIMMY!

The first time I had a horse “good enough” to approach a halter trainer the caliber of Kim, was when I bought the straight Egyptian stallion, MB Scatman, in 1997.  He was scheduled to be in the Canadian and US Futurity in 1998, and I wanted the best person to show him, anticipating he would go on to be the performance champion he became.  Kim and I now have laughs about what a handful he was then, and what he became as a Western Pleasure Champion.  I have been able to become a better horse person with Kim guiding me to not be “barn blind,” and showing any horse we had to the best of their ability.  The openness and honesty of our relationship is something I really cherish.

The culmination of this partnership has been the 2009 Region IX AOTH Mare Halter Championship with our 2 year old filly, MM La Bonita.  To be her practice run in anticipation of her 3 year old show season in the US and Canadian Futurities, we entered her in 2009, and had the most wonderful surprise when she won this honor.  Kim has made me into a better showman, and has given me an insight into breeding for a better halter horse, that can ultimately be a performance champion.

Eighteen months ago, we sent two of our young horses we had bred to Kim.  Our goal was to advance their training and determine their career paths, as well as to train me in handling.  Four U.S. National Top Tens and several Regional championships later, the horses are working well with great attitudes, and we are having a ball!  One has gone on to start a performance career, while we have added Chick Magnet to Kim's barn.  We are looking forward to a fun and successful 2010.

We have the utmost respect for Kim's program to return our horses to us the same loving and happy horses that we sent her.  There have been several horses over the years and her careful and methodical training practices were always appreciated.  Each horses was handled according to their personalities and they were able to show with confidence and without any fear whatsoever.  They always came up to the front of the stalls when we visited and you could tell they enjoyed being around Kim.

Kim began preparing our daughter Catherine and our Arabian mare WR Larietta to show in halter showmanship in the Spring of 2008. We have been thrilled with the process and with their success. Catherine won Region 9 that first year and in 2009 was Top Ten in showmanship at Youth Nationals in Albuquerque. Kim's attention to detail and kind handling of our horse were two key points leading to these successes. Kim is a true competitive professional but is still able to focus on step wise learning for youth and the need to keep things positive for the parents. Her complete support through the last two years has lead to a special relationship with all of us.

Kim has an incomparable ability to communicate with horses. Her kind, loving and gentle approach yields huge rewards. As an instructor, she has developed excellent, clear teaching methods which enable horse and handler to perform in harmony.

Over many years, I have had the opportunity to know and observe many Arabian horse trainers. Among these individuals are a few who have earned my trust and respect, but none more than Kim Morgan. Her integrity in dealing with horses and clients is inspiring. My family treasures her friendship and our horse loves her dearly!
